Float Key Ring - Float Newlyn and rope from St Ives

Introducing our handmade float keyring, crafted from recycled Ghostgear this unique keyring features a durable metal belt clip, making it easy to attach to bags, belts, or pockets.

The rope used here was recovered on March 4th 2024 in our largest Ghost net recovery ever. This was on the rocks at the back of the Island in St Ives. The weather was horrendous, It took 4 of us 9 hours to recover all of the net, buoys and rope. Throughout we were watched closely by at least 4 seals. To get the net up the cliffs we had to rig up a pully system. Finally, after much unravelling, untying of knots and washing (with rainwater) we have started to turn this into products to sell. The Float is from Newlyn.

Each keyring is labelled with which beach, port or cove it was recovered from. Size may vary slightly as all our products are handmade. Price includes mainland GB postage. For postal costs outside of mainland GB please contact us.
