The rope and Float used here was recovered on March 4th 2024 in our largest Ghost net recovery ever. This was on the rocks at the back of the Island in St Ives. The weather was horrendous, It took 4 of us 9 hours to recover all of the net, buoys and rope. Throughout we were watched closely by at least 4 seals. To get the net up the cliffs we had to rig up a pully system. Finally, after much unravelling, untying of knots and washing (with rainwater) we have started to turn this into products to sell.
